Realm of Battle Gameboard - Final!

Cue the music from Rocky and crack open the beers, my RoBG is complete. In this final stage I finished up all of the skull pits by doing an overbrush of Bleached Bone followed by a Badab Black wash and lastly a very light dry brushing of Skull White. I then laid down some of the scorched static grass from the GW scenery pack in small patches to try and compliment some of the existing terrain features.

Now all the board is lacking is some scenery; which will be remedied soon enough as you can see in the picture below as well as see what projects are to come.

  1. That's a great looking board! Nice work!

Now on to the terrain...The work never ends. :)

  2. Looks awesome, well done you. I'm jealous, must go get one of these. I've started scenery ahead of the board, using hardwood (fibreboard) around the base of the Imp City ruins to match the eventual board. Nice job fella

  4. Thanks everyone.

@jabberjabber - Yes, very relieved. There was a time when I wondered if I would ever even start it let alone finish it. Now I'm waiting to lay waste to Grendel's new Daemon Prince on it. :D

  5. Awesome, nice colours. I wish I had space in my apartment for such terrain. How big is that ?

  6. @Akozz - It's a standard 6 ft. x 4 ft. Each tile is 2 ft. x 2 ft making it modular as well as easy to store away in a closet. If you can spare the cash and really want a board to game on at home, the RoBG is well worth it.

  9. ~30 lbs. roughly. That may seem like a lot, but it's really not.
